To redefine the activity of the “Digital Influencer” and give it a recognized public face in Switzerland. We promote and support our members in their professional activities while representing them publicly and before governmental authorities, media institutions, and industry bodies.
A Switzerland where digital content creators — bloggers, vloggers, podcasters, and social media influencers — are recognized as legitimate media professionals with the same access, rights, and opportunities as traditional press. We envision a thriving, diverse, and professional digital media ecosystem where independent voices shape public discourse alongside established media.
CHBV is governed by a dedicated board of professionals with deep expertise in digital media, entrepreneurship, and content creation.
Entrepreneur and digital media visionary. As the founder of El Semari Enterprises & Co. and the driving force behind CHBV, Ziad recognized early the need for professional representation of digital influencers in Switzerland. He serves on the board (Vorstand) and previously held the position of Chairman of the Management Board (Vorsitzender Geschäftsführung). His vision: elevating bloggers to the status of recognized media professionals.
The CHBV is governed by an elected Board of Directors (Vorstand) comprising experienced digital content creators, media professionals, and industry experts. The board sets strategic direction, oversees membership standards, manages partnerships, and represents the association in official capacities with governmental and institutional bodies.
CHBV maintains relationships with media law experts, digital marketing professionals, Swiss press council representatives, and international blogger associations. This advisory network ensures the association stays current with legal developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital content creators.
The heart of CHBV is its diverse community of digital content creators across Switzerland — bloggers covering lifestyle, travel, technology, food, fashion, culture, politics, and more. Members include solo bloggers, collaborative platforms, video creators, podcasters, and multi-platform influencers working across German, French, Italian, and English.
Our flagship initiative: securing official press credentials for member digital influencers. We work directly with event organizers, cultural institutions, sports federations, and government bodies to obtain accreditation for our members at:
Beyond advocacy, CHBV embraces digital innovation by publishing mobile applications and games to explore new forms of audience engagement and interactive storytelling. Dragon Slayer is among the association’s digital publishing initiatives — an action-RPG mobile game that demonstrates the creative potential of the digital content community.
